Screen Printing for the Thrifty

Are you poor? Are you in a well stocked art room or crafter? Worry no more! Try CRAFTING! I'm like Amy Sedaris over here!

This is a half of a project because I'm waiting on clay to dry to see if it will turn out. I'm at the mercy of the kiln schedule. So, let's watch!
Start with a simple design. Here's a few testers...

SIMPLE.
Ideally, you need curtain liner (not shower curtain) fabric. It is a solid mimic for the regular screenprinting techniques.
Use a thin fabric then paint with mod podge on the negative of your design.

Matte or gloss= good time. Either is fine.
I also added blue acrylic so I could see my lines.
Can you see the blue through it? It's on the other side.
I scooped the ink with a popsicle stick and spread it with a folded index card.
I had to really push the ink through.

The print on the right was my first and the bottom left was my last. I can't wait to try it on clay!
